What you can and cannot do with the Shadow Pages AI software and supporting services.

Last updated: 11 May 2026

Contents

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the AI software, prompts, playbooks, dashboards, and supporting services provided by Ares Online S.R.L., trading as Shadow Pages (“Shadow Pages,” “we”). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service and applies to every user, including your personnel and contractors. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms.

You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Violating this AUP can result in suspension, termination, refusal of refunds, and reporting to law enforcement or competent regulatory authorities (including ANSPDCP for GDPR violations).

1. Prohibited content & conduct

You must not use the Services to create, host, transmit, or facilitate:

1.1 Illegal activity

  • Anything that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or the jurisdictions where the content is viewed, including Romanian and EU law.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or other regulated misconduct.

1.2 Sexual exploitation & non-consensual content

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or sexualisation of minors. We will report such content to the Romanian Police, INHOPE/Safernet, NCMEC, and the relevant authorities.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (“deepfake nudes,” revenge porn), or sexual content depicting real persons without their explicit consent.

1.3 Deceptive AI use

  • Impersonation of real people, brands, or officials in a manner likely to deceive.
  • Disinformation about elections, public-health emergencies, or other matters of public concern.
  • Fake reviews, astroturfing, and synthetic engagement that breaches platform rules or Directive (EU) 2005/29/EC (unfair commercial practices).
  • Failing to disclose AI-generated content where disclosure is required by law, including the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) for synthetic audio, image, video, and deepfake content.

1.4 Spam, abuse & harmful content

  • Unsolicited bulk messaging, comment spam, or activity that breaches the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, Romanian Law 506/2004, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or the rules of any social platform.
  • Harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, or coordinated brigading of individuals or groups.
  • Hate speech, incitement to violence, or content targeting people based on protected characteristics.
  • Self-harm promotion, dangerous “challenges,” or content that glorifies violence.

1.5 Infringement of IP & rights

  • Copying, distributing, or sampling third-party copyrighted work, trademarks, trade secrets, or likeness rights without authorisation.
  • Using the Services to facilitate piracy, counterfeit goods, or circumvention of technological protection measures.

1.6 Security, malware & abuse of the platform

  • Distributing malware, ransomware, phishing kits, or credential stealers.
  • Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the Services without our written permission, or using the Services to scrape another platform in breach of its terms.
  • Bypassing or attempting to bypass rate limits, usage quotas, authentication, or any other technical safeguard.
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract prompts, model weights, or proprietary playbooks.
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the Services for vulnerabilities except under a documented coordinated disclosure agreement.

1.7 Misuse of AI

  • Generating content intended to manipulate, defraud, or unduly influence individuals (including manipulative dark patterns prohibited by Article 5 of the EU AI Act).
  • Profiling individuals based on sensitive characteristics prohibited by the EU AI Act, including biometric categorisation and social scoring.
  • Using Generated Output to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or benchmark a model that competes with the Services.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or white-labelling access to the AI Systems.

1.8 Regulated industries & advice

  • Providing or simulating professional financial, investment, legal, medical, or psychological advice without appropriate licences and disclaimers.
  • Marketing in regulated verticals (e.g., gambling, lending, healthcare, crypto, pharmaceuticals, weapons) without complying with the rules of each market and platform you target.
  • Making earnings, results, or efficacy claims that you cannot substantiate (a breach of unfair-commercial-practices law).

1.9 Privacy & data-protection violations

  • Using the Services to process personal data without a valid lawful basis under Article 6 (or, where applicable, Article 9) of the EU GDPR or equivalent law. Doing so is a material breach of this AUP and may trigger reporting to ANSPDCP.
  • Submitting personal data of third parties (including audience members or leads) without their consent or another lawful basis, or without providing the information required by Articles 13 / 14 GDPR.
  • Submitting special-category data (Article 9 GDPR) or criminal data (Article 10 GDPR) through the Services without our prior written agreement.
  • Generating biometric identifiers, real-time remote biometric identification systems, surveillance tooling, or social-scoring systems prohibited by Article 5 of the EU AI Act.
  • Failing to honour data-subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) for data you control and process through the Services.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Keep credentials confidential and use MFA where offered.
  • Review Generated Output before publishing. AI can be wrong; you remain the publisher of record and bear all liability for what you distribute.
  • Comply with the terms of every third-party platform you distribute content on (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, Reddit, etc.).
  • Make required disclosures (AI-content labels, advertising disclosures, regulatory notices).
  • If you use the Services to process personal data of third parties, you act as a controller for that data and must comply with GDPR obligations independently of us.
  • Promptly report any suspected breach, unauthorised access, or abuse to legal@shadowpages.ai.

3. No results or earnings guarantee

SHADOW PAGES DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC INCOME, AUDIENCE GROWTH, MONETISATION, OR OTHER RESULT FROM USE OF THE SERVICES. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your effort, market conditions, niche, platform algorithms, and execution. Case studies and figures we publish are illustrative, not promises. See Section 15 of the Terms of Service for the full all-caps disclaimer, and Section 3 of the same document for the plain-language summary.

4. Reporting abuse

If you believe a user of the Services is violating this AUP, or you encounter content produced with the Services that infringes your rights, email legal@shadowpages.ai with as much detail as possible (URLs, screenshots, identifiers). We investigate every credible report.

5. Copyright takedowns (DMCA & EU equivalents)

We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and expect users of the Services to do the same. If you believe that content created with the Services, or content hosted on our infrastructure, infringes your copyright, please send a written notice of claimed infringement to legal@shadowpages.ai with subject “Copyright Takedown — DMCA Notice.”

To be effective under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), your notice must include all six of the following elements:

  1. An identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
  2. An identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., the URL, account, or asset reference).
  3. The claimant’s contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
  4. A statement that the claimant has a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the claimant is authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

EU equivalents. Where the takedown is governed by EU law, the equivalent notice procedure under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act) and, for Romanian copyright matters, under Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on Copyright and Related Rights applies. We act on validly substantiated notices that meet those legal standards. We may also accept analogous notices under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Counter-notices & misuse. If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@shadowpages.ai. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may result in account termination and may expose the sender to liability for damages and costs under applicable law.

7. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, take any of the following actions where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred:

  1. Warning— written notice and a chance to remediate within a reasonable period.
  2. Suspension— temporary suspension of account access while we investigate.
  3. Termination— termination of the Services without refund of fees paid for the unused period.
  4. Permanent ban— for severe or repeated violations (including CSAM, deepfake abuse, malware, large-scale fraud, or unlawful processing of personal data), permanent denial of access and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement and/or ANSPDCP.

Our enforcement steps are not sequential where the violation is severe; we may move directly to termination or a permanent ban.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on the Site at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
